bought one without the brackets a couple of years back, wouldn't want to go offroad with it, but works quite well as a general torch around the house.

Ive been running a windup head torch from Millets for a couple of years now as a reserve light while commuting, so when I spotted the Tesco one I thought it would be worth a go-its not, its sh1t. It lasted just over a week and then the front light stopped working, took it back for a refund.

I was given one. The battery has stopped taking a charge after three or four charge/discharge cycles. If I'd bought it I'd take it back.

If only they could think of some way to take a small part of the energy expended in turning the wheels, and converting this to light...
