Building up a kids bike for my 11yr old.
Want to go tubeless but keep weight down.
Trail riding more than gnar at the moment.
Thinking ine of the lightweight schwable offerings might fit the bill. Racing ralph etc. Any suggestions?

Both my kids have Rocket Rons, they've gone up tubeless fine.

Also the Vee tyres look good, and if you get yourself on the Little Rippers facebook group there's a discount code too.

I got 2 x 26" Barzo's for my son, he's ridden and raced on them, the usual tubeless ease and reliability I've experienced on 29.

You may have to search around for some though.

All my boys had/have Rocket Rons on their bikes in 24" and 26" guise. Great light tyres for their weights as they don't smash them up as much.

I've got some continental speed king supersonics sat in the garage, they won't go tubeless but they do weigh almost nothing.

Will sell cheaply and post if asked nicely.

Anyone tried to set the 24" rocket rons up tubeless?

Got a 24" RR/Hans Dampf combo on the wee man's rig and would like to tubeless it before we go to Scotland but the rear isn't officialy labelled Tubeless ready.

24 RR go up tubeless as do the HD. Had them on Samuels HT.

If its trail riding go for a SS on the rear and a decent roller on the front. Personally I wouldn't go for really light XC type tyres

ultimately depends on what is available and for how much.

I did 26" Race King on the daughters MTB. Perfect for her as we rarely ride anything muddier than a fireroad at the mo.
