Evening all,

Quick query if you someone could confirm please. For a new drop bar MTB/monster gravel/ATB type bike.

SRAM Force Etap shifters, GX AXS, Hope X2 calipers, will that work well together, particularly the Force shifters and X2 calipers? If not what would you suggest for a post mount frame, Salsa Fargo to be exact.

Thanks

I’m about to order some RX4+ calipers for those very shifters, as they are marketed as being specific for one t’other. I suspect other calipers may require more fluid, but not sure.

Thanks all, will look at all options.

@tomhoward where are you ordering from and am I right in thinking you need the dot version? Thanks

Yeah dot version, I’ll be ordering from my LBS as part if a bigger, c2w based, overhaul. Seem to be around £85 an end for the calipers online though.

The new E4s will work aswell. Confirmed this with Hope. I prefer the E4s as you only need one Bore Cap Tool and they have the new pistons which don't stick as much, if at all. And yes as stated SRAM is dot based and so are the E4s.

Most sram off-road calipers work fine. There's a compatibility list somewhere

Isn’t there a post mount version of the RX4 in dot flavour?
