just got back from a ( freezing! ) Dartmoor quickie to discover one of my Spesh Defrosters has shed a toe stud.
Am I right in thinking it's a football boot stud fitting, so a normal sports shop will keep them?

I think so, thats what I put in my SIDIs anyway.
Now, discover the joy of only being able to buy a complete set of football boot studs...
IRC Job said no as there too long, but I bought some (a complete set!) for some boots I had (don't think I ever fitted them), if you drop me a mail I'll take a look and see if I can locate them and drop you a couple in the post.
Buy a complete set and have spares for years to come 🙂
You can buy different length studs. The 'short' ones are probably the best.

Now in partial thaw beside the fire, my daughters have reminded me we should have some somewhere when they needed some for their football boots ( they've now progressed to makeup and boys!).
I'd forgotten, and more importantly, forgotten where I've put them!
I'll start turning out our cupboards, and if no success will get back in touch.

Update:
In the dark recesses of a cupboard.....some long forgotten football boot studs!!!
The shorter ones in the pack are very similar to the Spesh ones, except all aluminium as opposed to Spesh's ali tipped. They're about 2mm longer, so have found enough to re-stud both boots. A 2mm difference is irrelevant in my books!
