I bailed on a planned weekend in Wales, due to not really wanting to abandon my OH with our kids for a full 3 days.
My comrades have decided to rearrange closer to home (Exeter) so we can do day rides instead. (welling up inside)
Where should we ride?
Dartmoor, Exmoor, Quants, Blackdown, or Cornwall.
Done the Quants to death, (but its always good)
Know The nutcracker and houndtor/grimspound side of dartmoor quite well.
Exmoor is always brutal in my experience.
Any suggestions for less obvious places/routes close to home?
Any lesser known Dartmoor gems, for instance?
