could anyone recommend me a cheap, easy to set up, remote hardrive that will plug into my BT homehub and back up my macbook pro and my wifes imac (pre intel G5). doesn't need to work with time machine particularly.

I have a lacie ethernet mini disk which is a nightmare!

time capsule? iomega? a different lacie?

thanks

I've heard good things about the Iomega StorCenter from a Mac user who knows what he's doing. A quick Google, as ever, throws up mixed reviews though.

HTH.

Just bought a netgear readynas duo, dead easy to setup and install. Nice and small, runs quiet too.

Was £160ish with two 500gb drives (raided)

Nearly bought one of these last week - £139 for a 2TB NAS drive seems good value

In the end, I decided to try an online option, so trying Jungledisk.com for a while to see if it works.
