I know. I have to wear bike tights due to my blood being highly attractive to little critters. A few years back I had two nasty horsefly bites that spread up my leg and knocked me for six with lots of medication.
Can't risk it now- even on really hot days 🙁

No one even came close iirc...most of us did not clear the Nan Bield descent either but I was the only one to end up in casualty with 4 stitches to my face and broken ribs....still not the slowest down though even with the injuries!!!!
