Quad frames are late 2007 onwards, the new style

It doesn't help but I thought all the Marin linkage bikes after their single pivots use the Quad system. The late 2007 is Quad II isn't it? The magazines said the 2008/09 frames have lost a bit of weight since the 07 ones were introduced.

Out of interest what's the weight of the frame on your Wolf Ridge? There's a few deals about...

I weighed the wolf ridge before i built it up, its medium and 7.2 lbs, i know thats not to bad for a 6" travel frame. It was new old stock just before christmas. well impressed with it but its a bit overkill for suffolk!

Quad frames have existed since 2004, but they changed style in 2007 to the more recent design 🙂

I'll stop being a pedant 🙂

There is a listing for a Medium Marin Mount Vision at 2300g on Weightweeinies but I would suggest that is more than a tad optimistic to say the least.

I have a older style Quad Link 100mm Mount Vision down to under 23lbs (verified) and estimated a while back (using estimates and known weights of all the components) that the frame is around 2700g with shock. I would love to know the true weight though!
