Hi all - my Vyron has decided to stop working after being ignored over winter, I am currently trying one more charge with it removed from the post to see if by some miracle will return to it. It flashes read when charging, but never goes to a solid light. Previously with a half or full charge, you could hear the post come to life when switched on and it's not doing any of that.
I've had a post fail before and returned it to Magura who replaced it FOC outside of warranty, which I was grateful for.
On asking them if I can return it for a repair, they've respond with a 'buy a new headunit and see if that work response.
I am hesitant in doing that, because if it doesn't I am stuck with £90 worth of unit for which I have no need and I can't see a retailer excepting a return for a unit that has to be fitted (and therefore used) to see if it works.
Does anyone have a vyron post anywhere north leeds where I could try your battery?
Really keen to sort out before Ard Rock and ideally don't want the hassle of returning to a cable operated post as it's a nightmare to fit in my Jeykll.
Any help appreciated!
