I have an old rigid gt aggressor mountain bike I use for commuting on. When pedalling and seated I keep sliding forwards. It's got a short 50mm stem on it now and quite wide riser bars.It used to have narrow riser bars and a longish stem and never used to do this. I was thinking of sliding the saddle backwards as it's currently centred or tilting the seat upwards. I keep sitting on the back end of the saddle at the moment, although I still slide forwards. The saddle is a shaped curvy WTB one and fits nicely. It is level.Seat position is kept quite low always. Not sure if it's the mods to the stem and bar. I might also try and rotate the riser bars backwards a bit too.The bar sett up is lower now from original and feels fine if not better. Any ideas how I can make adjustments to stop it and keep the current bar and stem on.
not mine but like this originally but rigid same originally

If your always sitting on the back end of the saddle - Slide backwards
If your sliding towards the front of the saddle - tilt up the front a little
thanks
Try riding mostly up hills. Should clear it up.
