OK, so a replica Yellow, Pink or Gold jersey would be a bit, well, of a no no, but I quite like white, and the rainbow colours look quite nice...

First round of the the British XC series this year, masters race. Bloke turns up in full world champ rainbow kit. Race is run under UCI rules, so commissaire comes up and asks him which cycling discipline he is world champion in. Bloke looks confused, until told that you can only wear the rainbow jersey if you are the reigning WC in the discipline you are racing.

Lots of chuckles, bloke has to race with kit inside out.

Don't do it.

Yes, unless you've earned them a big faux pas. A mate of mine just did it after many years of trying, Masters Points race Champion 2009.
