You got a section of the course (one of the all-time-great sections of the course in fact) named after you before we sold out and got all corporate.

fwiw (which is very little) I thought last years race with the snow was the best winter* race of them all, the harder sections nicely offset the slop 🙂

*see what I'm hinting at there... summer race... 🙂

When's the first preview ride?

Some of the course (the new MTB trails) aren't open yet, so until then...

The preview rides are a marketing tool really but we don't appear to need them nowadays 😉
(might do one for a laugh though)

After the weekends 3 Peaks weather I think HTN needs to step up if it wants to keep its Epic weather reputation. I shall expect no less than artic weather conditions now.

It is better to live 2 hours as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm.

But you don't see many worm skin rugs.

60%ish entries gone. Chop-chop if you want to join the fun.

There will be a booze up in The Church Inn in the evening and probably a curry frenzy before it.

At the race we have excellent catering. Much better than just a pie.

Update.

74% of entries gone.

When asked at Relentless 24 this weekend a certain hairy TT rider described this year’s HTN as “Mustard”. We’re not sure what that means… but we think he is coming again in 2013.
