I'm swapping bits from one frame to another and thought whilst that's being done I might as well replace the bearings on the headset and bottom bracket.
Except I haven't a clue. I can find my headset but not the bearings (are they a standard size or something?).
I have a Hope ZS49/28.6 EC49/40 (4F) headset.
I also want to swap out the hope steel BB bearings, I have a lot less details for this.
It's a X01 crank set that had a Team GXP BB, but is now replaced with a hope steel and dub converter. Are they just a std 24mm diameter?
There's nothing wrong (except old), with them so I might just sack it off.
Headset bearings will be 1"1/8 top & 1"1/2 bottom.

If the bottom bracket is fine I wouldn't replace the bearings.
If you're running gxp cranks with an adapter the bearings are od 37mm, id 24mm, width 7mm
Brill, cheers!
I'd be even less inclined to change a set of headset bearings before they needed to be. I don't think I've *ever* worn out a set of headset cartridge bearings.
You could pop the seals and inject some fresh grease.
If you need one, offset the cost of a grease gun against the bearings you don't have to buy 😉
