[#2779107]

I am doing a charity ride which is linking up parents all over the country to do a 'Teddy Bear relay' for the The Smith-Magenis Syndrome (SMS) Foundation.

I have to do a parent link up from Worcester to Stourbridge (& back), so was thinking of doing a ride with as much as possible off road, I was hoping to make use of the Canal path system for some of it?

Just wondering if any locals could help with any routes offroad that might help link the two Towns?

Ta very much.

hmmm you can get on the canal @ Stourport and follow it all the way up to Stourbridge but I'm unaware of any off-road route to get your to Stourport from Worcester. Supposedly you could follow the severn way (ahem ...footpath) up along side the river though.
Otherwise it's the A449...

Worc to alvechurch is easy by canal, or to bromsgrove, then over waseleys and clent to s'bridge, The last bit being hilly though

Thanks z1ppy, I did wonder how far you could go canal wise from Stourbridge, want to try and avoid the horrid A449 if possible ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks RD will look into that route a bit more, I have possibly 2-3 none riders who want to join the group of ridiers doing it, so will keep the hills in mind ๐Ÿ˜‰

thanks anyway, great advice.
