I have an old Kona HT which I want to convert to a singlespeed, currently its running all XT gear.
What would be the easiest way to convert it to a single speed ?

Buy a DMR singlespeed kit and a chain tensioner

remove the gear triggers & lock the mechs in place using the movement limit screws?
