I met thekingofsweden tonight. He was proper uber-niche royalty and no doubt. I wasn't allowed to look him directly in the eye - I had to use a small mirror and avert my gaze whilst addressing him (reverently of course). I was most certainly humbled in his presence. I do feel a better person for having met him tho.

I long for the day I meet someone that's met The KoS.

Is it true that he's so singlespeedy that if a geared rider looks at him they instanly become cooler by assosiation and sell all there mainstream geared tatt in the hope of being "a bit more like him"?

Yes and no. One does become cooler, but the hopeless emptiness I feel now I am no longer near him would never be filled with any reduction in gears / conversion to flat earth or renouncement of my colour television.
His manly stubble and down-filled gilet gave him a manly yet casual air that reminded me of a cross between Bear Grylls and Han Solo - but royal and noble.
I am more of a man yet less of a man for meeting him.

So the real KOS went to Si's party tonight? I thought a fake may have been sent due to the dodgy area known to us Northerners as Brizzol

I'm confused, went on a geared ride in the forest yesterday, 3 of us with either 18 or 27 of them. Didnt need to stop for any faffing or shifter issues. What are we doing wrong?

BTW - who marked the "orange" trail around the edge of the Pedalabikeaway area? Useful for following some of the singletrack in that part of the woods.

ever since the "specialmanlovegame" with the sodastream went wrong the tollahs sphincters have all been a bit week, hence the upper seal breach!!

Where abouts? Must be getting a signal to post on here so that narrows it down a bit, possibly near the top of the last climb. Who wants to join the search party... 🙄

I thought Pete and Mandy were behind so when i couldn't see anybody ahead i waited for them to point the way but nobody arrived. I hung around for 10 minutes then started swearing a bit.
Vaguely knew which direction was pedalabike was so i headed down hill, fairly sure i'd hit the road and came out at the south end of cannop ponds.

There's quite a few turnings through that bit. Mandi and me were bringing up the rear there but obviously missed you. I'm thinking that after the trail dropped down (fast) and up again there's a left turn that is easily missed; if missed you shortly come back up onto the fireroad. There were 3 guys stopped (not with us) just before the easily missed turn. Glad you found your way back OK though.

Mandi is confused to how things went so wrong, again sorry flatfish, I counted a few times and we had 20 everytime?

Buzz lightyear, mine should be up tomorrow night once I've converted them etc!

You were counting your wok as the missing rider.
An easy mistake to make with something that big.

Sounds like flatfish took a wrong turning so the sweepers had no chance of finding him as he wasn't on the same trail.

Stu, i took the right turning into a piece of singletrack, following somebody else, they were about 30/40 yards ahead, saw them ahead in the trees and when i came out on a fireroad nobody was there.
I've no idea where everybody went after that but i was defo following the "correct route".
Maybe you lost more and i'm the only one to get home and complain.

So you took a wrong turn/missed a turn off in the trees then.

No, my singletrack came out onto a fireroad right where i saw my last attention whore. There were no other turns on this section of singletrack.

To be fair, every time we stopped for Don to be spu, he asked if everyone was there and ready to roll. You obviously didn't make it known that you were missing and defiantly not ready for any rolling just yet.

I remember seeing flatfish everytime i saw him he was either crashing, dabbing or walking 😆

Sorry it didnt register when you wern't there i guess i just thought you were getting better maybe you can take us out sometime and lose us ?
