Nice invalid carriages
One question, why ?
looks like a smart car minus a wheel
god you lot are -ve.
there only for a bit of fun.the guys who had them must have been about 60ish.
good on them i say.....,..
One question, why ?
Absolutely
All the disadvantages of a car and none of the sdvantages of a bike coupled with all the disadvantages of a bike and none of the advantages of a car.
bit of fun maybe ??????????????????
Faster than a wheelchair.....
Pointless! but i'd like to have a go on one,and they look like transformers, robots in disguise, which can only be a good thing.
When I was a kid, sometime in the mid-70's, my dad brought something like that home from work, 2 wheels at the front and a long seat.
We could get half the kids on my block on it one behind the other, no helmets needed, and cruise round at 10mph. I was one of the cool kids for a whole week then!
Clearly the solution to a problem that never existed, and possibly less fun that 1 front and 2 rear wheels so you can at least get one wheel off the ground. ๐
Absolutely bonkers and a brilliant idea.
Want one for winter ๐
Where can I get one?
I've had a number of 3 wheelers - more fun per cc than anything else you can buy - unfortunately I have managed to roll all of them (my fault - excess joie de vivre), but I'm more sensible now...
Do you have to wear a helmet?
Edit: nah, no good. It's got traction control.
A guy in Invergordon built something like that in the 60s. He used a Mini front sub-frame. I remember seeing it and thinking it was pretty cool - it was a kneeler if I remember right.
Looks like a lot of fun - and harder to fall off than a motorbike.
Should have got a bus pass. They look like you can use then underwater. But we all know you can't.

I'm thinking about the sideways fun...
But probably not much chance if it has traction control.
Usual oh no it's different it must be shit reaction then.
How about it's different it might be a laugh?*
*might be too much to ask for some on here.
Look like fun to me.
I presume in winter it converts into a skidoo?
ss-stu.nail on the head there bud..
i was talking to the two gentlemen and they absolutly loved them.
They look like a pair whos mum wouldn't let them have a motorbike.
Ha Ha scottchegg i'm 32 married with a family and my Mum still won't let ME have a motorbike!
cbrsyd has it covered from the 'sensible' angle - but who wants to be sensible. I ride a bike and I'd love a shot on the of those, together with a go in a Grinnel Scorpion, a proper trike, a Morgan 3 wheeler and one of those Carver things.
Vive le difference - as the French may or may not say!
If you're building something with 3 wheels then that's the way to do it. 2 at the front handles/works so much better than 2 at the back.
Try to find some footage of Morgans racing and you'll get the idea, trikes on the other hand are more often than not an automotive abortion ๐
like to see one tankslap
