Not a big trail centre rider myself, so can't compare with others, but I've ridden Brechfa on Trans Wales and the Brechfa enduro event they have, and really, really enjoyed it. Some mahoosive berms (No really, they're quite big!) and tabletops etc.

Enjoy!

Its a damn good crack and much better as a trail than anything Afan etc can offer. My fave of the South Wales centres 😀

Some good long climbs with good payback on the descents 8)

do the red gorlech trail out of abergorlech, its mint, the first and final descent are some of the most fun descents ive done and ive been all over! i ride there twice a week. the black is ok but the red is soo much fun and the climbs are totally worth the descents. 2 laps (24 ish miles) shouldnt take anymore than 3.5 hours although you can link up the red and black.

The berms on the Raven are teh shizzle, bro. (As I believe the youth would say...!)

Great place to ride, especially now Luffy is running his Brechfa Bus and providing some lovely nosh!

If your feeling frisky park in the Gorlech trail car park (in Abergorlech) then do the red, and before you start the final descent of the red trail you can jump onto the black! Stop in the black car park for some snap and head back! Just as your flagging you get the final amzing red descent to perk you rite up!!!

Don't bother with the red. Boring fireroads galore!

much better as a trail than anything Afan etc can offer.

No chance mate.

The berms are very big, when describing them you will do the classic fishermans 'it was this big' pose.
My favourite of the Welsh trail centres, did in the wet and loved it.

dont agree with backhander im afraid, its must more fun than afan, the descents are proper downs and whilst there are fire roads they are mainly used as climbs. I know its personal taste but it gets a big thumbs up from me!
