Hey! My eldest son, 11, is in need of a new bike, we're going to switch away from his trusty Frog to a suitable hardtail. I'm not after anything fancy, doesn't need to be this years model etc, but not sure what to go after. Hilly trail duties around Central Scotland and the borders.
I guess something like a Specialised Pitch would do the trick in XS, what else is worth considering? £500 is the hard ceiling, I'd rather spend £400 or less though.
