I was told end of Sept or very early October. I think that delivery date sounds about right.

Does this light need the dedicated battery pack to get the maximum output, or will an existing exposure battery pack do the job?

I love my Diablo and the thought of a light that is just as compact but nearly twice as powerful got me a bit excited. However when I see the burn time is as low as 30 minutes, the cynic in me wonders if this is just about quoting impressive numbers at the expense of real-world usefulness. I'd be terrified of ever putting on "high beam" for fear of riding home in the dark with a flat battery.

£270 and only 30 minutes burn time on full!? So... That'd mean 1 hour on 1000 lumens, the same as the Diablo.

So, you're buying a Diablo, for more money, with a gimmick that ruins its primary use?

I'll stick with my £110 Gloworm thank you very much.
