Bought a fulcrum wheelset from Evans (yes, more fool me!) I’ve had nothing but trouble with the rear hub. They’ve changed the bearings once under warranty, then once more which I have paid for after the freehub collapsed, then after only 4 rides they’ve gone again!
To add insult to injury, they claim that they “have fitted the bearings correctly, it’s the fulcrum bearings that are at fault, so you’ll have to pay” AGAIN! “sir”
This is after spending literally thousands of pounds in the Evans store at Xscape Castleford since it opened approx 4 or so years back on no fewer than 3 full bike builds, wheelsets and various other parts, accessories and maintenance products.
Guess where I won’t be going anymore! Rant over...breathe... 🙁

Get in touch with Jim Walker, they are the importers and tell them that you're not happy with the product or service you've received.

Not fit for purpose. Don't let them off with blaming Fulcrum. They legally have to replace them for you.

The Sale of Goods Act 1979 ensures goods should be of satisfactory quality and fit to do the job intended for them. Fit for purpose means both generally e.g. hi-fi speakers should play music but also specifically for any purpose you've asked. E.g. if you've asked ‘will they fit my Hitachi Hi-fi?', and been told yes, but it doesn't then it wasn't fit for the purpose specified.

4 rides is not fit for purpose unless they were sold as ultra-low drag racing only, ultra short life bearings.
