Just received a Brand X 170mm dropper post. Used but supposedly very little and in great unmarked condition. Unsurprisingly it was compressed for postage but I am struggling to extend it. Cable in the slot and clamped very hard in the vice and I pulled. Nowt.
As I type I am wondering if I need to pull toward the socket thing for the outer. Not time now, off to the first TT of the season.
Am I being dim? Only ever sat on one twice and never seen one off the bike efore.

Well that was a shocking TT but I had time to think this through. Realised that I could push the outer socket thing inwards not pull the nipple out. Came home and it works.
