Not sure why but it reminds me of when the T-1000 dies in Terminator II

Is that the tandem to rule all tandems? In no way do I consider myself an authority on these sort of things but jeeeesus that is fugly. Nicely engineered no doubt, but fugly!!

What lets it down is the colour scheme. Other than that, it is certainly very striking, even beautiful.

Take all the logs off it and ittud look a lot better.

That's got to be a photoshop..

Two reasons..

The SRAM S80s will not take 2 persons weight. It'll be on or over the weight limit for the wheels.

Secondly, is the front person there to just steer?

If they're produced it in the raw carbon with a hint of red like the venge mclaren edition it'd be jaw dropping.

I partnered a blind paratriathlete for a season a year or two back to the British, European and world championships - we'd have killed to have that as our tandem (you do the bike section on a tandem) rather than the clunker supplied by the British Triathlon Federation. At least 50% of the team riding the bike would not have been fussed about the way it looked 🙂

fugly to me 🙂

What really scares me is the lack of triangulation in the front part of the frame - but I have seen a few tandem frames like that recently - I guess someone did their sums
