Hi STW,

Anyone use these ?
What do you reckon if so ? Bar mount looks pony, does it work ? What sort of burn time in reality do you get on max ?
Thanks

I've got one of each!
Burn time in excess of 3 hours on max setting. Get the head mount version, both come with rubber band handlebar fixings - exactly the same as Lupine lights fixing method so nothing wrong with that!
You'll maybe need an extension cable for helmet mounting so trawl ebay for one.

I find the rubber band slips a bit so when going over a lot of roots or small jumps/drops the light rotates on the bar. I am now using the small band with the light touching the stem and this keeps it more or less in place.

Its known in these parts as the "Bastid Light" as named by Trout, and this forum has several threads about it.

I hate the thing.

Enjoy !.

Buy it works very well for the money, very light buy a spare battery though and seal it again when it gets to you as its poor out of the box.

I use a bit of 'servo tape' which is the squidgy double-sided tape you use to hold the electronics in place in a radio control car. It's nice and sticky but is easily removed again. Put some on the bars then fix the light on with the band as normal. It stops it from rotating.

3 mates have got them, two work and one doesnt. Its a cheap light if they work or a very expensive paper weight if it doesnt. I nearly bought one but followed the thread about a DIY LED upgrade for the lumicycle halogen. Its a fiddle and a faff but if you are prepared to do it, it works well
