Seems like a weekly thread, but what is cut gate like at the moment? Nicely frozen or quagmire?
Thinking of doing it on Saturday...am I mad??

very wet around Sheffield so I would imaging it'll be quite boggy up there. most likely snow/ice drifts too

It looked very well covered in snow on Sunday as I passed it on my way to Wharncliffe. The track itself looked very snowy, but freezing level has risen and fallen a few times, so could have changed again.
Most likely a muddy, snowy walk. I wouldn't bother.
