The ease of conversion is relative to your mechanical skills. That said, I doubt it will that much more complicated than doing an oil change.
I might be tempted to convert mine at some point.

VERY EASY!
let air out, remove lowers, unbolt topcap, remove circlip at the bottom and pull piston out, remove spacer, put back together, add oil
done

Its easier than changing the compresion oil. What he said /\ up there. first time will take twenty minutes, ten thereafter.
