Threaded or non-threaded canisters, are either better than the other?

Threaded can be used in either threaded or non-threaded CO2 pumps, non-threaded just in non-threaded. I'd go for the more versatile one!

depends what your pump is...
I run threaded meeself, with a GI nano pump head
