I think my rotor may be contaminated. Is this an effective method of cleansing?

Probably. But you might poison yourself/your family. And the salty water may rust/corrode your rotor.

Will the salt not make it rust?

Meths or IPA (Not Greene King though!)

Dunno, i find that just giving them a bloody good scrub in the sink with fairy or what not works, do the dishwasher thing then that?

Have put a few things in the dishwasher then given them a good rinse after, no worries.

One of them steralising wipes should work ok!

Or dunk it in some water after the dishwasher and dry it on a towel, and put the dishwasher on a clean rinse when you're done 😆

Contaminated? Pads get contaminated, rotors get 'cleaned' everytime you brake. At best, I'd give them a wash on the bike. Can't really see the point in using the dishwasher.

Oven, 200 degrees, 20 minutes.

Meths & set light to them.
Seriously.

Remove from bike first ideally.

If you don't have any Isopropyl Alcohol, just rub some dish-washing soap on them and rinse with kettle of boiling water. It's literally a two-minute job (once the kettle's boiled!).
