Callous cut away,

Beer has seen to that.

I had a verruca on my foot when I was a kid, cut it out with a stanley....way too young for beer but it worked a treat. Maybe switch to spirits and get the belt sander?

Don't get the Dremel out. treats dry skin wonderfully but gets a bit hot. That bit is okay but a few beers later and the tooth ache starts...

...my dentist thought I had been tortured and wanted to call the police

I have to confess that I remove splinters with a sharp knife, don't mess around, cut it out. Most cringe or call me weird/gross.
who's that at the door, hello man in white coat.........

Where is the line drawn between using diy/craftwork tools and surgery?

Or anywhere near a vital organ...!

I do lots of DIY with a beer in hand.

Angle grinders are fun. N

home surgery is a rite of passage into adulthood. You're not a proper biker unless you've lanced a saddle sore using only 5 items:

1/ A pin
2/ Vodka for sterlising the area
3/ A flame for sterilising the pin
4/ Vodka for anaesthetic
5/ A large dose of MTFU (Vodka helps here)

Just remember, just as the night is darkest immediately before the dawn, when the pain on squeezing goes from agonizing to excrutiating, that's the signal to stand ready with the kitchen roll.

I think I will stick with a Dremel for dentistry, even I draw the line at using an angle grinder!
