Looking for an ebike that can do it all? Specialized are launching something that may well be the one bike to do it all. Introducing the Turbo Tero, starting at £2900 up to £4500, the Tero has 110mm of front suspension and is powered by either a 710Wh or 530Wh battery (depending on model). Spesh say the bike is capable enough for commuting, trekking and mountain biking, a “mountain bike equipped for everyday rides.”
So what’s the deal? Here’s a closer look…
Specialized Turbo Tero
We are more than one type of rider, more than a single label: everyday commuter, mountain biker, trekker, weekend warrior. With Tero, we created a bike that can do it all—giving you the ability to ride where you want, how you want, when you want. A bike that brings the power for mountain biking, then lets you wipe the mud off and be ready to take you everywhere else you want to go—from city streets to rugged alpine escapes.
Specialized
There are a few models in the range, starting with the Turbo Tero 3.0, Tero 3.0 step-through, Tero 4.0 EQ, Tero 4.0, Tero 4.0 step-through EQ and Tero 5.0.
Turbo Tero Power
Ride farther than you thought possible, in less time. Tero shatters limitations when it comes to range, amplifying your effort for up to six hours of ride time. Now you can ride farther, and explore more, than ever before. The Turbo Full Power 2.2 motor incorporated into the aluminium frame of the Tero 5.0 effectively quadruples your own power, cranking out ample wattage to make short work of the steepest climbs and providing enough extra muscle to let you carry a mountain of adventure gear, groceries, kids and daydreams without breaking a sweat. It’s you, only faster. But what really sets this motor apart from the rest is how efficiently and seamlessly it melds with your own efforts. Uptake is silky smooth, and Tero can find traction in situations that would have other bikes slipping and spinning out. Nothing else feels this natural.
Mastermind control
In addition to smoothly integrating your power inputs with that of the motor for an unnaturally natural ride experience, Tero’s TCD2 MasterMind controller is the brains of the outfit. First introduced on the Turbo Levo e-MTB, MasterMind’s display reveals all relevant info about your ride, allows real-time tuning of support levels, and enables over-the-air updates so that your bike gets better over time.
Power levels can be fine-tuned on the fly from the handlebar, maximizing your range and ride time, and there’s a built-in range estimator that allows you to calculate just how much power and range you need. MasterMind seamlessly integrates with the Mission Control app for range optimization tools, advanced tuning, on-ride diagnostics, and more. Riders have logged over eight million kilometers via mission control in over 140 countries. This connection with our riders as we develop our e-Bikes in-house means we’re learning in real-time how riders are actually using their bikes and what new functionality they demand. The end result of all this applied technology makes those out-of-reach destinations attainable, those long days in the saddle shorter, and those far horizons just that much closer.

The speed website linked doesn’t appear to list the Tero. Is it an English language site but for a different country? I can find it through the GB site:
