Liv, the women’s specific sister brand to Giant, has launched the Intrigue X E+, their first 29er electric trail bike. Whereas many other brands provide a ‘same frame, different contact points’ option as their women’s offering, Liv produces women’s specific frames, with geometry and suspension tuning based on their ‘3F design philosophy’:
‘Gathering worldwide female-only dimensional data, Liv designs and engineers frame geometry specifically for women by optimizing weight distribution on the bike. This puts the rider in the best position to maximize power and efficiency, and employ her most powerful muscles. Further, Liv custom-tuned the Intrigue X E+ suspension for women so it performs optimally for female riders and the bike’s intended use, resulting in improved traction, control and confidence.‘
The Liv Intrigue X E+ series is fitted with a SyncDrive Pro motor and EnergyPak Smart 625wh battery, giving assist modes that range from 100% to 360% of a rider’s effort. Obviously there are a lot of variables at play, but it’s claimed you can get up to 190km before recharging. The battery is removable and is integrated into the downtube of the ALUXX SL-Grade Aluminium frame.
The Liv Intrigue X E+ series includes a handlebar mounted RideControl Ergo for adjusting assist modes and displaying battery level and support level. There is also a Smart Assist Mode which automatically provides pedal assistance when and where needed by monitoring both terrain and rider input, plus a Walk Mode.
Bounce comes from Maestro 2.0 suspension technology, a 140/150 mm platform with flip chip adjustable frame geometry, giving riders the ability to adjust the geometry of the bike for more efficient climbing and descending.

With its big motor and big battery will my small lady be able to lift it on the bike rack ?
Hi Dales rider
I tested the E Reign recently for this fine publication.
My take would be a boot mount would be manageable but if it weighs the same as the Reign I tested, it would be a hard job putting it on a roof rack.
I should add that the battery life and range seriously impressed me.

Hope this helps, my friend?
Cheers!
