Initially shown at Eurobike just over a year ago, Italian helmeteers Kask took the intervening thirteen months to gather feedback on their first mountain bike helmet.  The result is 2016’s Rex, which appears to be a well-ventilated trail/enduro helmet.  With more of a rounded profile and considerably more vents than much of the competition the Kask looks set to fare well in the heat and on impact.  All of the modern conveniences are present: a two-position peak, breakaway camera mount (for Sony, GoPro, and Garmin), and a colour-matched goggle strap.

Oh Rexy you're so sexy!

The Octo Fit retention system is carried over from the company’s Tour-winning road helmets, as are the leather chin strap and dual in-molded shell.  Weight is competitive for a deep-coverage helmet at 290g and pricing is set at €190.
