grit.cx, the new digital cyclocross magazine and website from the publishers of Singletrack has just announced the appointment of its magazine editor and online editor.
Focusing on cyclocross riders, racers and lifestyle, grit.cx will also have a healthy dose of all manner of drop-bar, off-road bike riding and racing. Think of grit.cx as a cycling adventure beyond the barriers, above the gravel and through the mud. grit.cx will be more than a race mag—cyclocross isn’t just about racing and pain. Cyclocross bikes are fun, and we intend to show you just how much fun they can be.
Jeff Lockwood – Editor, grit.cx
Editing the digital magazine will be Jeff Lockwood. Jeff will be a familiar name to many people in the bicycle industry, having worked at Dirt Rag for many years, and as a correspondent for Singletrack and other magazines in more recent years. Jeff relocated to Belgium several years ago and now has the unique perspective of being an east coast US rider now immersed in the center of Belgium cyclocross culture.
Neil Webb, Online Editor, grit.cx
Neil Webb is another familiar name in the bike trade. Neil has been a brand manager at Madison, and marketing chap at Evans Cycles, as well as a technical writer for IPC Media at Cycling Weekly and a lifelong racer of all things two wheeled.
Both editors are regular cyclocross racers, spectators and fans and we look forward to seeing what they do with this new and exciting publication of grit.cx. The website is due to go live at the end of the summer and the first issue of the digital magazine will appear in early October.
While we prepare and test the all new Grit.cx website both Jeff and Neil are using our Grit.cx Facebook page to post stories and news. So pop over to Facebook and like our Grit page to keep up to date on all things CX.
