Garda Bike Festival: Past bikes, present bikes, future bikes?

by 5

The great thing about bike shows is there’s usually a bit of misty eyed nostalgia tucked away on one of the show stands to invoke the “Remember when it was simple” anecdotes and jumpers for goalposts stories.

At Riva, Specialized supplied the bike to do it, a McRoy-era FSR…

a first I thought that Felt fatbike looked mint….but then I saw the battery and then I thought “what a pile of poo”.

    electric schmelectric.

I remember a friend of mine racing DH on a similar FSR to that one, until he ripped the head tube off at Nant Mawr.

i’m with terrahawk! Felt, hope you do a “man powered” one!

    Ludites lol

I remember seeing that McRoy era offering in MBUK or one or two of the other mags out then. My bike had those thumb shifters too, I believe my son still has them somewhere, he’s probably using them on one or other of his bikes.
