How’s it where you are today? It’s golden in the valley today but we’re just like you stuck over screen – slight caffeine induced anxiety attacks to keep us on our toes and counting the hours away until freedom!

First up, the men of the Nicolai Gates team return to bounce, hop and huck their way through the woods. It’s All Mountain Trial 3!

You may have seen news and video of the epic Trans-Provence stage race plastered pretty much everywhere on the interwebs, but now it’s done and dusted, they’ve released the greatest hits compilation. Four minutes of amazing riding, scenery and riders being more excited than toddlers on Christmas Day…

This video is shot on the Portal trail in New Zealand, which sits atop a shale ridgeline between two suburbs of Wellington. Rider Rowan Falconer and filmer Nick Stevenson made the most of some grim conditions to get out and ride…

‘Dangerous’ Dan Cowan took North Shore trail construction into the zone of silliness. One of the best known of his trails was the ‘Flying Circus’, a ridiculously high and skinny bit of feature packed trail that was rideable only by a select few and famous through numerous riding films. We don’t like to mention the other magazines much, but this is possibly the best video bike review we’ve ever seen. Rob Weaver from that MBUK magazine has been taking a look at the Ragles Greenone. It’s got front expensions and them water brakes. Wicked.

Olly Townsend from Exodus made this to celebrate Autumn sunshine – which was all too brief for him as he managed to mangle his knee shortly afterwards. Boo!

Educational corner! Here’s a video explaining how the Dutch got their amazingly bike friendly infrastructure…

..and here’s another on the Swiss Light Bicycle Infantry for Mountain warfare. They used to keep it real with singlespeeds…

Back to edutainment with some stylish riding courtesy of Mitch Ingley on the Stanton Bikes Slackline, a modern take on the do-it-all hardtail…

Been night riding? Had a couple of shandies in the pub afterwards? This ring any bells?
