Count, What model is the first seiko. It’s lovely!
It’s a ‘Spork’, or Seiko SRP043k1. No longer in production, but if you hunt around the interwebz, you can find them.
That one is actually identical to mine, it has a 24mm Hirsch strap, hand notched at the ends to it between the pillars, a bugger of a job that took me two hours of careful phaffing around to get the strap to fit!
It does fit my wrist better than the stainless bracelet, though, and is more comfortable.
I regulated it myself, took several goes, but after three months it’s currently around 12 seconds slow, not bad for Seiko’s basic auto movement.
I love it to bits, it cost me around £350, new old stock, from a dealer up in the Midlands, with warranty from last July, when I bought it, with money left by my mum.
The other one is a ‘Tuna can’, lovely, tough watch, but too pricey for me, and newer ones are quartz instead of auto, which I prefer.
