  • What rigid forks for a cannondale hardtail frame? Help please.

    Hello,

I've got a hardtail frame and the headset that reduces the fork needed to a 1.1 1/8. I've just placed a set of Bonty carbon forks in there but it has had a massive impact on handling and it really can't be ridden! The original headshok was 80mm of travel. Just wondering if anyone has successfully done this with a cannondale frame and if so what forks did use? Also, does anyone want a set of Bonty carbon rigids going cheapish?!

    Thanks Matt

measure axle to crown of headshock and look for similar length, mebbe a little less allowing for sag

Thinking about it I did that the last time. Just remebered that I forgot to take the headshok's blackboot into account. Bugger. I bought them last year and decided to get a winter bike together only now.

    Bonty forks anyone?

    Matt,

I could be interested in the Bonty forks if they have v brake mounts.
