  • What is my SIM number? (GPRS only Sim)

I have a SIM card which resides in my work laptop. My employer thinks I hold two so I have to tell them which one can be ceased. But they only identify them by phone number.

I put the sim in my mobile, (Nokia 2730) it gets reception but will not allow outgoing calls. I can't find a 'my numbers' option in contacts or settings, and I can't find a *# number to enter for an O2/BT Mobile SIM.

It is rarely used so both cannot identify it from the bill (but will shortly be needed every day so cannot risk cancelling the wrong one!

*#100# work for me but that is on Vodafone, not sure if all operators are the same. Try *#101#, *#102# etc for more information.

Take the number off the SIM itself. Work should then be able to get the network to check the SIM number and find out what its allocated MSISDN (mobile number) is.
