There’s a few marks/light scratches apearing on my ti 456, from the car car rack gripper and from general usage. When I bought the frame I’m pretty sure Brant said to use a normal pan scouring pad and go gently with the rub action.

I was just wondering if it’s as simple as this, or do I need to do this in any specific direction. Also does this method apply to the bead plasted shiny shiny areas.

Scotchbrite pads are correct, although TBH you will get some more marks soon enough, however if it really bothers you then go for it.

    Is it bead blast finish?

    Cheers for the replies.

Yes mine is the one with the bead blasted logo and flames, there are some
marks on this area and I was wondering if the approach was the same.

Deffo dont go near it with a Scotchbrite pad then! Mine has quite a bit of marking too, but there is not a lot you can do.

As bdb says scotchbrite is for brushed finish
    frames.
