So, we’re thinking about pushing up Snowdon again at the weekend.

Is it totally covered in snow or is it do-able? When I say do-able, I mean properly equipped and with reasonable experience of such things!

    P.S.

Wot about cadair idris or whatever it’s called??!

We’re planning on riding/pushing up on Saturday too, if it’s like it is in the those photos it should be lovely.

    Cheers

Hmm just not sure – snow could be OK but if rangers path is covered in ice it wouldn’t be so much fun :-/

Rangers path was fine, all the steep bits were below the snow line, we rode the whole thing (bar one or two drops :}) As far as i’m aware there has been no further snow

We did it 2 weeks ago and the wind was what made us turn back. Hope that dies down for you!

At one point I was going uphill without pedalling. Mental.

Well we did it a few years ago in mental wind and rain but no snow!

Unfortunately one of my mates is convinced it’s unrideable as he’s driven past snowdon and saw the snow on it.

**** wimps… Bet we end up riding cyb instead 🙁

    Snow? Meh

‘Tis the wind I’d be more worried about!

Hmm I don’t mind snow in general but it’s a bit iffy on the exposed edges perhaps ..

The Pony Path on Cadair is a bit boggy at the mo and the corners towards the bottom of the bridleway up to it are frigging slippy! If you stick to the farm track instead of doing the river crossing you won’t get too covered in cowshit.

    The top is all good.
