Firestarter – who makes that chainring?

    King hubs from Aspire Velo.

Stans rims, spokes and wheel build from LBS.

Boone Ti cog from Boone but no longer available. 😥

    Got a matching chainring too.

These apparently aren’t Middleburn compatible? Why don’t other manufacturers make stuff this pretty?!

    laughingontheinside: Best. Bike. Ever!

Makes my mountainbike feel heavy and overcomplicated, and makes my road bike feel delicate and impractical.

So thanks to one £400 impulse buy I’ve now got two other bikes I have little interest in riding! 😀

My Inbred. 470mm (29er) forks. Rides great. Only recently gone rigid. Felt too low at the front with 440mm rigids. Has lifted the front nicely, & less weight over the front has improved the ride. Also swapped to a std dia stem & carbon bar. Nice big 2.5 tyre next… 😉

My Inbred. 425mm Salsa fork. Rides fabulously. Front end nice and low, more weight over the front wheel improves handling 😉

    My Pompino. Fixed off-roader / all-rounder:

My ebay special “Elswick Ambler”. Commuter:

Now with rack and fenders; so comfy I’m contemplating a tour of Scottish west coast using this at easter…

My Kona A. Now mostly dead:

    My Kona Unit. RIP:

Mike the bike shop that Simon1975’s bike is outside is Meckis in Torbole at the N end of Lake Garda, looks like they’ve done it up since I was there last, they do a bidon with the same slogan 😀
