    Do the above shifters still have 3 shift positions and so make redundant the third shift or are they just a 2 position shift? Ads dont seem to show any difference between a double and triple? Ta

    It’s the same shifter with a converter underneath to choose between double and triple.

    Btw, when fitting/ replacing the cable it has to be in triple mode.
