    Hello,

I have an old Kona hardtail (blast) which has since been rendered unused after upgrading my bike, i am in the process of stripping it and rebuilding as a commuter/wet weather fitness bike.

In the back of my shed i have an old set of kona project 2 forks, the Kona currently has a set of judy TT's on it, which frankly even when new where terrible and have nearly always been ridden with the preload wound right up so they are stiff as.

The project 2's are shorter axle to crown by about 20mm, I fancy using the rigid forks, but is this possible? will it feel weird because the forks are shorter?

    Cheers

Should be perfect – will account for the sag.

thats about right as you would have sag with suspension forks anyway

    Thank you
