    I fitted a set of Truvativ GXP cranks and now need to take the LH crank off.

    Foolishly I thought it would come straight off like an HT2, but that's clearly not the clase as it's tapered.

    Do they do a special removal tool or does it normally use self extracting crank bolts?

    meh, I'm a kernob and have solved this myself – self extracting bolt duly ordered from Wiggle.
