Calling all Greater Manchester dwellers! Come along and you may end up in Singletrack Magazine issue 168.
We’re doing a feature on grassroots XC racing in the next issue of Singletrack Magazine. And part of that feature will be a cool little event happening this Wedneasday evening courtesy of the Midweek Mountain Bike Madness bods. Come along and rag around for an hour or so with a number board on and have a go/laugh/cry. You may end up in print!
Event Overview
Race for Grassroots – from beginners to experienced riders.
Youth and Juvenile* £8 advance entry fee .
£15 advance for Junior and Adults.
Racing kicks off at 7:15pm
*Youths – born 2010 – 2011 – in year of 15th or 16th birthday. Juveniles – born 2012 – 2013 – in year of 13th or 14th birthday.
NO ENTRY ON THE DAY, NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED
This is because the races use electronic timing – meaning faster results and accurate times for you all, but a slight increase on costs and hence entry fees. Events close at 23:55 on the day prior to the event so that the data can be prepared for the timing company.
