A very brave person has been placing pieces of wood with nails through it on the trails & also in the steams, whoever did it put some thought into it the small planks about 10mm thick the nails 30mm in length, the nails went halfway through leaving 10mm on the underside to keep it in place. The really worrying bit was the ones they had hidden in the streams these woods are used by everyone, dog walkers & families, it’d be bad enough if a dog got injured, but someone’s child could get seriously hurt, when I was small a walk in the woods with the family was considered safe & if there was a stream you’d all try to jump across, the wood with nails was buried at the edge of the bank you could see foot prints were people had just missed it. Hopefully the person who did it got a scratch on their hand then get wiels disease.
