   Space between the pads and the disc can be regulated with this wheel, so if you hear 'bling, bling, bling' you make a few turns and the rubbing noise disappears"

   Hasn't someone already done the twin co-centric piston thing? Only their adjuster was at the calliper IIRC?

   Sounds like a Hope C2....

   
   Looking back through rose tinted glasses my C2's were wayy more powerfull than anything that came later, although my new Elixirs seem similarly powerfull, but there's been 8 years inbetween them! And apparently the newest Shimano are even better.

   You're thinking of the Ashima APV, uses co-axial pistons.

   My C2s were good, but I killed them coming down skiddaw. Over-heated and couldn't wind them out any more. As soon as they freed up a little, they'd heat up as they were still dragging and then lock up again.
