Anyone used this bunkhouse? If so what’s it like and more importantly what are the local pubs and places to eat like?

There have been previous posts on this bunkhouse, its worth searching the forum for them.

The accomodation is great well worth a visit, however the local pubs aren’t great. Don’t think either do food anymore and there are often plenty of the local youths hanging around inside and out of the pubs looking for aggro.

As I said the hostel itself is great, have stayed there many times, its just that we’ve always fed and watered ourselves to keep costs down / avoiding the local chavs. IMHO
