My Campag rear mech needs some new jockey wheels, so i can either get hold of some plastic Campag ones or try something a bit different.

On ebay i have come across some KCNC ones for not much more than the OEM items, question i have is what is there durability like, particularly the bearings as this seems to be the weak point for so many.

Ceramic KCNC are brilliant, 8 months of heavy use, in sandy, muddy gritty conditions and they’ve only needed one clean and regrease.

SS bearings would be good also – but the ceramic are worth the extra.

I can only comment on the SS bearing versions on my MTB and they have been superb. Thats all weather, approx 18months

Fitted KCNC to my MTB two years ago. SS bearings still spinning well.

I use the Mt Zoom ultralight ones which are lighter and cheaper than the KCNCs, and they’ve been fantastic.
