I’m pretty sure i’m over analysing this, but humour me anyway…
I’m kinda settling on an Orange Clockwork 120 (650b) as a new bike. Will be used for, XC trail riding from the doorstep, trail centres, perhaps something like Nan Bield / Snowdon once a year (will be an only geared bike).
Orange are established & sorted so clearly know what they’re doing.
Orange seem to spec long HT chainstays compared to some others. Eg: Clockwork = 440mm, Crush = 443mm, Hummer = 422mm, Soul = 428mm, Zero = 420mm etc…
I understand that its only one figure in the whole geometry package, so heres the other numbers:
